Kenneth Odza

Ken Odza is a trial partner at Stoel Rives and leads its food liability practice. Ken is a seasoned products, environmental and commercial litigator focused on foodborne illness, consumer fraud, environmental cost recovery, mass tort, insurance recovery and commercial claims. He represents national and regional businesses and has been repeatedly successful recovering multi-million dollar sums from insurers, suppliers and PRPs.

Ken works regularly with regulators and the leading experts in the field. He is a frequent lecturer at food litigation conferences and has unique experience related to non-O157 E. coli and Mad Cow Disease (BSE).

In addition to litigation, Ken counsels clients of all sizes on issues related to recalls, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, litigation prevention, crisis management, supplier agreements and product labeling.

Ken is a board member of both Food Alliance and TeamChild. He is deeply committed to the Puget Sound community, pro-bono civil rights litigation, child advocacy and sustainable food.

Richard Goldfarb

Richard Goldfarb is a partner of Stoel Rives LLP in the Corporate Group. He has a national reputation for expertise in all manner of commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on secured financing and sales and leases of goods.  He has been active in the food and agricultural sector for over 25 years, and has done extensive work for clients in the dairy, fruit and biofuels industries, as well as lenders to farmers, packers and agricultural cooperatives. 

 

 

Tyler Anderson

Tyler Anderson is an associate in the Corporate Securities and Finance group of Stoel Rives LLP. Tyler’s food and beverage industry practice focuses on FDA regulatory compliance, product labeling, and marketing issues. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Tyler was an extern in the legal department of NIKE, Inc., where he worked on a variety of legal issues in the marketing arena.

 

 

 

Joseph Eckhardt

Jay Eckhardt is an associate in the Stoel Rives Technology and Intellectual Property Group.  He has extensive experience in antitrust litigation, counseling, and trade regulation.  Jay has assisted clients in the food and agriculture industry, in mergers before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice, counseled clients and agricultural cooperatives on Capper-Volstead antitrust immunity, and assisted clients in various antitrust litigation matters.
